🦄 Résumé
Hello there,
I’m Kim! I’m a senior digital product designer with 20+ years experience. My passion lies in design systems and native app servicing experiences. I believe in creating cohesive experiences across different platforms. Therefore, I work to ensure that systems and processes honor the unique distinctions between web, iOS, and Android ecosystems.
Superpowers
Pixel perfection is a personal obsession of mine, and I take great pride in developing comprehensive UI libraries. However, my greatest impact comes from my ability to tackle complex, large-scale, omni-channel design problems and create scalable design systems. Moreover, I have a talent for effectively explaining and teaching these systems to your Mom – I’m not kidding.
Background
I reside just outside of Richmond, in Louisa, Virginia, with my husband and three boys. Our home includes a designated room for our extensive Lego collection… (and where a Lego Master has slept).
Education
I am a double alumnus of Virginia Commonwealth University. I initially earned my degree in glass working and furniture design, indulging my passion for crafting tangible objects. Later, I returned to complete a communication design degree.
